Experiences of students with visual impairment pursuing Science fields

An online panel discussion was conducted on the topic “Experiences of Students with Visual Impairment Pursuing Science Fields.” The panel featured five students with visual impairment who are currently pursuing STEM education.

  1. Nisha Dsouza – Aspiring Child Psychologist and Music Therapist | Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Leiden University | Completed schooling in Mumbai.
  2. Yagnit Vadhel – Botany Master’s student at the University of Vienna, Austria | Passionate about research in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Developmental Biology | Holds a BSc in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
  3. Rishi Tandel – First-year junior college student in Science at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
  4. Pranav Savla – Founding Member at Phoenix Digital Media | Currently in Class 12, Science stream.
  5. Bhuvika Agrawal – Pursuing a B.Tech at IIIT Lucknow.
