APU Faculty Visit
Faculty members from Azim Premji University (APU), spanning disciplines like biology, chemistry, physics, neuroscience, and economics, visited ARC to understand how accessibility can be integrated into labs and classrooms. The session highlighted ARC’s models and approaches to making science and math education inclusive for students with disabilities.
Australia India Institute & TISS Team Visit
A team from the Australia India Institute, University of Melbourne, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences visited ARC to explore joint opportunities in applied learning. The group engaged with ARC’s accessibility initiatives and experienced demonstrations of inclusive STEM education tools that support learners with visual impairments.
Paridhi & Jeevesh’s Visit
Paridhi Mahajan from Unilever, along with her brother Jeevesh Mahajan, a visually impaired first-year student of Economics at IIT Kharagpur, and their mother, visited ARC. The family explored a range of assistive technology tools and resources, engaging with ARC’s mission to make STEM education inclusive.
Paul & Shivani’s Visit
Paul D’Souza and his neighbour’s niece, visiting from the US and researching the disability sector in India and the Global South, explored the Accessible Resource Centre at IIIT-B. The visit focused on understanding ARC’s role in accessible STEM education and assistive technology innovations.
