Anubhav@ARC – KWAB Students Tactile Art Session (Day 2)

Students from Karnataka Welfare Association for the Blind (KWAB) participated in a tactile art session at the Accessible Resource Centre (ARC) as part of Anubhav@ARC. The workshop introduced blind learners to the idea of pictures and art through hands-on creation, using clay and tactile materials to build representations of the human body. By working with familiar forms such as the head, torso, hands, and legs, students explored self-expression, texture, and creativity in a non-visual medium. The session focused on building tactile literacy, confidence, and comfort with symbolic representation, offering an accessible entry point into art-making and preparing students for engaging with tactile diagrams and abstract concepts in future learning experiences.
