IIT Madras Workshop
Intro
The Accessibility Research Centre, IIT Madras, in collaboration with the Teaching Learning Centre, IIT Madras, organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme titled “Accessible STEM Education in Schools – Lessons from the Grassroots” from 30th June 2025 to 4th July 2025.
Vidhya, our co-founder, was one of the panelists in the panel discussion titled “How to Do Things with Inclusive STEM Education?”. The discussion was moderated by Professor Amit Prakash, Professor at IIIT-Bengaluru, Convenor of the Centre for Accessibility in the Global South (CAGS), and co-founder of Vision Empower.
On Day 3 of the workshop, the team from Vision Empower conducted a session on inclusive education practices for teaching STEM in inclusive classrooms. This was followed by an experiential activity where participants practiced the inclusive strategies learned.”
