The Inclusion Dialogue – From Classrooms to Campuses to Communities
Vision Empower launched The Inclusion Dialogue series with its first session, “From Classrooms to Campuses to Communities,” held on 23rd March 2026. The session brought together experts across school education, teacher training, and higher education to discuss inclusion as a continuous journey.
The discussion highlighted that true inclusion means equal participation through accessible methods such as Braille, tactile tools, and inclusive teaching practices. While policies exist, the key gap lies in implementation, especially in teacher preparedness and institutional readiness.
Speakers emphasized the need to shift from a mindset of limitation to capability, ensuring that students with disabilities have equal opportunities in STEM, higher education, and beyond. The session reinforced that accessibility should be built into systems from the beginning and that inclusion must move towards empowerment through collaboration, innovation, and sustained effort.
