Anubhave Bigyan – Experiential Science Exhibition at Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys’ Academy

November 3, 2025

On 3rd November 2025, Vision Empower, in collaboration with the Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys’ Academy, hosted “Anubhave Bigyan”, an experiential science exhibition celebrating the spirit of inclusive STEM learning. Six schools participated with remarkable enthusiasm, making the event a memorable milestone in accessible science education.

Historically, science exhibitions have been a domain dominated by sighted learners. But this event demonstrated a powerful shift—students with visual impairment confidently presenting their scientific knowledge, experiments, and conceptual understanding. Their participation stands as a testament to the transformative potential of inclusive learning.

A total of 24 students showcased experiments to 71 visitors, covering topics across Science, Mathematics, Geography, and Computational Thinking. Exhibits included models and demonstrations on the structure of sulphur atom, types of fibre, acid-base reactions, Bernoulli’s principle, heat expansion, magnetic fields, and more. Students also demonstrated Digital Literacy tools such as Hexis, Iris, Subodha, and screen-reader-based navigation.

The day also featured a quiz competition and a lively “Balanced Diet” skit performed by students of Blind Boys’ Academy.
Dr. Sudipto Biswas, DMEEO of South District, graced the event, appreciated the students’ efforts, and distributed certificates.

The exhibition concluded with a celebration of curiosity, confidence, and the joy of scientific exploration—marking a new chapter in India’s journey toward truly inclusive science education.
