ARC-On-Wheels at Pragya Teacher Training Program (Tamil Nadu)
ARC On Wheels supported a two-day teacher training program under the Pragya initiative in Tamil Nadu, conducted exclusively for Vision Empower educators and the VE team. The session focused on hands-on orientation and pedagogical use of tactile STEM teaching–learning materials, including simple pendulum, sprinkler, inertia in rest, conservation of energy, thermal expansion of solids, water maintaining its level, musical rods, and the Help Me model. Teachers were also trained on the effective classroom integration of tactile mathematics and science resources such as graph kits, algebraic tiles, and tactile science and mathematics primers. The program aimed to strengthen educators’ confidence and capacity to deliver inclusive, experiential STEM instruction for learners with visual impairment.
