Pragya Teacher Training at Mumbai

August 2, 2025

Vision Empower successfully conducted a one-day PRAGYA Teachers’ Training Program at Mumbai in collaboration with NAB India, on 2nd August 2025, bringing together 28 educators from four different schools across the city.

Participating schools are Victoria Memorial School for Blind Boys, Smt. Kamla Mehta Dadar School for Blind Girls, Education Training Centre Services and the educators from the National Association for Blind.

The workshop aimed to enhance teaching strategies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and the implementation of Computational Thinking (CT) in the classroom for children with visual impairments.

Teachers enthusiastically engaged in practical sessions that demystified complex concepts such as Bernoulli’s Principle, Exothermic and Endothermic Reactions, and graph interpretation — all through multisensory and interactive methods.

Vision Empower is grateful to NAB India, Mumbai for their support in providing us with the space to organise the teacher training.
