The Pragya Teacher Training Program was conducted on September 20, 2025, at St. Michael’s, Jharkhand, with the participation of 14 teachers. The session began with an introduction to Vision Empower’s interventions and inclusive teaching methodologies, setting the tone for an engaging, hands-on learning experience.
Participants explored STEM concepts such as electricity, circuits, and geometry using accessible learning tools like Subodha, tactile books, and physical models. The sessions also incorporated computational thinking (CT) games and activity-based learning strategies, promoting curiosity and conceptual clarity.
Teachers were introduced to a variety of inclusive teaching aids, including Akar Parivar, Jodo Blocks, Ganitmala, Braille cards, and fraction kits. In addition, live demonstrations of Hexis, Iris devices, and the Antara portal showcased how technology can enhance inclusivity in classrooms.
The training emphasized effective lesson planning using Subodha and TIK, highlighting ways to make STEM learning accessible for students with visual impairment. The program concluded with highly positive feedback, with teachers appreciating the practical, interactive, and empowering approach to inclusive education.
