At Vision Empower, we remind the students we work with that education is not just about learning concepts; it is about understanding the world around us and our place within it. It is about observing, questioning, and caring for the environment we all share.
This year, on June 5, 2026, students across different schools marked World Environment Day through a variety of engaging activities. These included quizzes, hands-on model-making, sapling plantation drives, discussions on sustainability, and other experiential learning activities that helped students explore environmental issues in meaningful and accessible ways.
While Vision Empower’s work focuses on making STEM education accessible, the values at the heart of learning extend far beyond scientific concepts. When a child learns to observe the environment, question how things work, and reflect on the impact of their actions, they are not just learning science; they are learning stewardship, responsibility, and citizenship.
