Another Pragya in Pune

Vision Empower organized its second in-person Pragya teacher training session in Pune, Maharashtra on November 29th and 30th, 2023. The training successfully engaged 23 educators from six different schools.

The primary objective of this Pragya was to understand and exchange the implementation of various teaching methodologies and pedagogies in the classroom. Apart from that, being in a common platform helped the teachers share not only their challenges in teaching some concepts such as light, Ohm’s law, the periodic table and so on, it also provided them with a platform to share their solutions and insights with each other.

The training emphasized an experiential approach to teaching STEM concepts, utilizing Vision Empower’s (VE) resources and easily accessible materials from the environment. The overall focus was on enhancing the teaching of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through practical and engaging methods.

Vision Empower extends its gratitude to the management of Poona School and Home for the Boys for their continued support in hosting the training program for the second time. The organization looks forward to the prospect of continued collaboration for future events, aiming to further empower and enrich the teaching community.
