A three-day CRE Program on “Capacity Building on Odia Braille (Bharati Braille)” was conducted from 23rd to 25th November 2025 at IIC, Jatni, organised by the SSEPD Department and NIEPVD, Dehradun, in collaboration with Vision Empower.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Sannyashai Behera, Deputy Secretary, SSEPD Department, and Shri Dilip Kumar Hial, DSSO, Khordha. The sessions were coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Assistant Professor, NIEPVD, who guided participants through structured learning on Braille literacy and inclusive practices.
A total of 65 participants attended the training. Throughout the three days, the Vision Empower Odisha team played a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the program—supporting CRE online registrations, coordination, documentation, and report writing.
On the final day, Shri Pratap Chandra Beura, ADM, Khordha, attended the valedictory session, distributed certificates to participants, and presented recognition certificates to Vision Empower team members for their contributions.
Shri Sannyashai Behera appreciated the VE team for their consistent support and commitment, acknowledging their role in making the program a success.
