As part of Kindness Month, CSGI organized a meaningful volunteer initiative at their office premises in WeWork, Embassy Tech Village, Bangalore. The event brought together over 100 passionate volunteers, all uniting for a single purpose—creating inclusive learning materials for students with visual impairment.

Over the course of the program, volunteers successfully prepared 96 tactile math worksheets on Algebra, designed to make abstract concepts accessible for children with visual disabilities. What made this initiative truly remarkable was the way it seamlessly integrated into the volunteers’ workday. Participants created tactile worksheets right from their own cubicles, blending their professional commitments with purposeful giving. This unique approach showcased how kindness can be woven into everyday routines without disrupting workflow.

Adding inspiration to the day, Ms. Vidhya Y, a strong advocate for inclusive education and a role model in STEM, addressed the gathering. She shared her own journey and spoke about the mission of Vision Empower—making quality education in science and mathematics accessible to every child, regardless of ability. Her words deeply resonated with the volunteers, reinforcing the significance of their contribution.

The event concluded on a heartfelt note with gratitude expressed to every volunteer. Their collective effort will not only support classroom learning but also help students with visual impairment experience mathematics in a more engaging and meaningful way. The initiative stands as a shining example of how small acts of kindness can create lasting impact—shaping a future where every child can learn without barriers.
