The VE Regional Conference on Computational Thinking in Schools (CTiS) 2025, held on 14–15 June at IIIT Bangalore and hosted by Vision Empower in collaboration with CSpathshala, brought together a vibrant community of special educators and pre-service teachers from across India. Focused on the theme “Computational Thinking for Inclusive Education in Schools,” the conference aimed to promote inclusive, activity-based approaches to teaching Computational Thinking (CT), particularly for children with visual impairments. With 35 selected paper presentations covering subjects like Mathematics, Science, Language, Music, and Coding, participants showcased innovative ways of integrating CT into diverse classroom settings. Hands-on demonstrations and CT-based games designed by educators further enriched the learning experience.

Around 24 presenters attended in person, with several others joining online, creating a truly hybrid and accessible event. The conference provided a unique platform for collaboration, where educators could share, learn, and inspire each other to rethink how CT can be adapted for inclusive education. As a significant step in Vision Empower’s ongoing mission, CTiS 2025 highlighted the transformative power of community-driven innovation and reaffirmed the importance of making computational thinking accessible to all learners.
