Pragya – Teacher Training at Montfort Centre for Education

Pragya – Teacher Training Workshop, organized by Vision Empower in collaboration with Montfort Centre for Education, and supported by the Great Eastern Shipping Foundation, was held on March 18th and 19th, 2025. The workshop brought together 42 enthusiastic Pre-Service teachers and 11 In-Service Teachers from across the Northeast, fostering inclusive STEM learning through hands-on experiences.

Day 1 Highlights:

• Tactile Generation Session ignited creativity and curiosity.
• Digital Literacy Session by Vidya empowered teachers with assistive tools.
• Antara and IRIS Demonstration ensured accessibility for all, with resources available in Hindi, Bengali and English.
• Science Exploration on Acid, Base, and Salt using a color detection app , air pressure for interactive learning.

Day 2 Highlights:

• STEM Empowerment through hands-on math activities.
• Geometry , Data & Graph, Algebra Workshop encouraged practical applications of mathematics. –
• Teacher Leadership Moment: Tripura teachers proudly led a math session, demonstrating leadership and confidence.
• Computational Thinking Games enhanced problem-solving skills.

The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, celebrating the teachers’ dedication to fostering inclusive learning.
