Pragya Teacher Training Event in West Bengal

On September 25th and 26th, the Pragya Teacher Training program was successfully held in West Bengal, organized in collaboration with the Department of Mass Education Extension & Library Sciences at RKM Blind Boys Academy. The event saw participation from 30 dedicated teachers representing 16 schools across the region, all eager to enhance their teaching skills.

The training included dynamic sessions focusing on innovative classroom strategies using the 5E framework (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate). Participants were introduced to assistive technologies like IRIS and engaging classroom games such as bingo, connect, and sudoku, all designed to enrich the learning experience for their students.

Evening sessions added a unique touch to the training, featuring an inspiring inaugural session based on Vivekananda’s quotes, guided meditation led by Maharaj, and hands-on science experiments for 8th-grade students. The cultural segment showcased the talents of ex-students Anup and Suddha, who performed captivating songs.
