Pragya Teacher Training in Jharkhand

Vision Empower conducted its first-ever Teacher Training in Jharkhand 21st and 22nd of November 2022. The training was conducted in the capital city at Brajkishore Netraheen Balika Vidyalaya.

A total of 7 teachers from 3 special schools attended the training which focused on equipping them in teaching STEM concepts to students with visual impairment through fun activities and accessible resources.

They were also introduced to VICT (Computational Thinking for the Visually Impaired) games that aim to instil numeracy and computational thinking skills among the students.

The teachers were given hands-on training on using the accessible VE Learning Management System – Subodha.

Taking this forward, VE will work closely with the teachers from special schools of Jharkhand to continue making STEM education accessible for children with visual impairment.
