Pragya Teacher Training in Kolkata

Vision Empower conducted a two-day Pragya teacher training on the 20th and 21st of February 2023 with 33 B.Ed teachers from Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur in Kolkata. The B.Ed teachers were introduced to the pedagogical goals with which the Hexis Antara solution was devised and then instructed on how to use the two technology solutions. The various features of each were introduced in steps.

The teachers were first made to read a downloaded text and then shown how to upload a text on Antara. They were further taught to download uploaded texts and read them after connecting the device to a wireless internet connection. After all the learning sessions, the teachers solved a quiz on the Hexis device.

Overall, it was a great learning experience for the teachers with visual impairment. They expressed their interest in future training in order to use the Hexis device promptly.
