Raising Awareness on Special Educational Requirements

 On March 22, 2024, Jyoti Bisht, our Regional Manager- North, represented Vision Empower at the one-day orientation programme hosted by  Samagra Shiksha Uttarakhand in Nainital. The event aimed to raise awareness of the educational requirements of children with special needs. 13 students alongside 170 principals, teachers, parents, and coordinators participated in this insightful orientation.

Jyoti Bisht shared about the various methods, pedagogies, and interventions VE uses to make STEM & CT education accessible for children with visual impairment in India.  She also briefed the attendees on the VE technologies used in special schools, such as Subodha, our accessible learning management system, and Hexis, the Braille refreshable device.
