Teacher Training Workshop with BIERT teachers – Sankara Eye Foundation & VE

Vision Empower in collaboration with Sankara Eye Foundation conducted a one-day Teacher Training Workshop with 35 BIERT teachers on 15th December 2022.

VE Coordinators Rajeswari, Bhagyashree and Rajesh facilitated the sessions under the supervision of Sylvia Veeraraghaven, Director of Operations, VE.

After introducing the VE interventions with the BIERT Teachers, the VE Coordinators engaged the teachers in playing CT Games (board games, card games, etc.) highlighting how each game focuses on numeracy and computational thinking skills.

The BIERT Teachers also got a hands-on experience with Subodha- VE’s Learning Management System. The teachers were trained on how to access content on Subodha in various languages.

Post the sessions, teachers were given certificates. The teachers also shared their feedback on the sessions VE Team conducted and clarified their doubts about VICT and Subodha.
