Teachers’ Day Celebration at IEPVD Tripura

The IEPVD Boys and Girls School at Agartala, Tripura celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September.
As Vision Empower closely works with the teachers and students from IEPVD, Sudipta- VE’s School Coordinator was invited to the celebration by the students she regularly conducts VICT sessions with.

The celebration started with a lamp lighting ceremony as a symbol of reminiscing Dr S. Radhakrishnan and the impact made by his work. The teachers were led by the students for a cake-cutting ceremony. Post this, they were requested to be seated on the chairs arranged by the students with each teacher’s name respectively.

The teachers were called one by one to deliver a speech on the occasion and their love for teaching.

“It was a great pleasure for me when my name was announced to deliver a speech on behalf of Vision Empower”, shares Sudipta.

This was followed by special performances, by the IEPVD students, in the form of speeches, skits, singing and dancing. The students thanked each teacher for investing in their lives by giving them a bouquet and pen as a memento of appreciation.

“As a school coordinator of Vision Empower, I’m overwhelmed to experience such a wonderful Teacher’s Day celebration”, shared Sudipta.
