Making STEM Learning Accessible
With support from Great Eastern Foundation, the CSR arm of The Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd., Vision Empower has been working with the school since 2024 to make STEM learning more accessible to students with hearing and visual impairments.
In collaboration with the school, we conduct STEM and computational thinking sessions, have established an accessible science lab, and provide accessible learning materials and assistive technologies. We also work closely with teachers to help them integrate these resources into their classrooms.
During the visit, students proudly demonstrated how they use accessible learning resources, including Hexis and tactile books, to support their learning.
Inspiring an Inclusive Viksit Bharat
The Vice-President spoke about the school’s meaningful contribution to building an inclusive Viksit Bharat by 2047. His words of appreciation are an inspiration to the school community and to everyone at Vision Empower working towards more inclusive and accessible education.
We are proud to partner with Donyi-Polo Mission School in creating opportunities for students to explore STEM, develop computational thinking, and learn with greater independence.
