Vidhya Y Shares Her Story At NITIE Mumbai

Vidhya Y attended the annual event of Entrepreneurship Cell & MSME Cell of NITIE (National Institute of Industrial Engineering ) Mumbai as a speaker.
Vidhya Y shared her story of success. From being born in a village of Karnataka as a child with visual impairment struggling to get equal and accessible opportunities to becoming the Gold medallist of her batch at IIIT B, a researcher at Microsoft Research Center and further a co-founder of Vision Empower, a non-profit working to make STEM education accessible for children with visual impairment.

Vidhya Y encouraged those who attended the event by sharing the importance of a positive mindset in overcoming obstacles. She shared that one has to keep learning from all situations and circumstances and avoid the temptation of thinking of oneself as a victim. She highlighted the importance of taking responsibility for one’s own growth.

The attendees of the session were inspired by Vidhya’s thoughts and positive approach towards difficulties and challenges.
