The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum 2022 represents the world’s largest annual gathering of the ‘ICT for Development’ community. The Forum provides structured opportunities to network, learn and participate in multi-stakeholder discussions and consultations on WSIS implementation.

As part of WSIS’ work on Gender Mainstreaming, WSIS Gender Trendsetters have been appointed to act as trailblazers and take action in strengthening gender equality. Our co-founder Vidhya Y is one of the trendsetters who shared about her pledge and the work she is doing to advance gender mainstreaming efforts in the field of ICTs.

This session provided an opportunity for WSIS GenderTrendSetters from across the globe to come together and update the community about their respective commitments and activities they have been conducting to achieve their respective pledges.
