From October 3–5, 2025, Vision Empower participated in Empower 2025 at IIT Delhi, the 8th Annual Assistive Technology Conference. The event brought together users, experts, innovators, and advocates, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of assistive technology.
On Day 2, Co-Founder Prof. Amit Prakash served as a panelist discussing “Challenges in Making Higher Education Accessible for Students with Disabilities.” On Day 3, he moderated the panel on “Understanding the Impact of Regulatory Barriers on the Assistive Technology Supply Chain and End Users – Exploring Pathways to Address Them.”
At the conference exhibition, Vision Empower showcased key initiatives including Pragya, Anubhav, Subodha LMS, and the Assistive Resource Centre (ARC). Interactive demonstrations highlighted the use of LUDIC design methodology, computational thinking games, and assistive devices like Hexis and Iris by Vembi Technologies.
Additionally, we presented the prototype of MathPad, developed with Touche Tech, gathering valuable feedback to inform further refinement.
Empower 2025 provided a platform to engage meaningfully with stakeholders, deepen conversations around inclusive education, and strengthen advocacy and partnerships. Vision Empower looks forward to building on these interactions to expand impact and enhance learning opportunities for visually impaired students.
