Vision Empower participated in Empower 2025, the 8th Annual Assistive Technology Conference held from October 3–5 at IIT Delhi. The event brought together users, innovators, and advocates in assistive technology, creating a vibrant platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
During the conference, our Co-Founder Prof. Amit Prakash contributed to key discussions—serving as a panelist on “Challenges in Making Higher Education Accessible for Students with Disabilities” and moderating a session on “Regulatory Barriers in the Assistive Technology Supply Chain.”
At the exhibition zone, the Vision Empower team showcased our flagship initiatives—Pragya, Anubhav, Subodha LMS, and the Assistive Resource Centre (ARC)—highlighting our efforts in inclusive education for children with visual impairment. Visitors also experienced our hands-on learning tools, including LUDIC-based computational thinking games, and demonstrations of Hexis and Iris devices integrated into our programs.
We were also excited to present the MathPad prototype, developed in collaboration with Touche Tech, and gathered valuable feedback to refine it further.
Empower 2025 was an inspiring experience that deepened our engagement with the assistive technology community. We return from the conference with renewed energy to strengthen partnerships, drive advocacy, and continue advancing inclusion in education.
