Vision Empower is working to make science education more accessible for students with visual impairments through hands-on learning, tactile models, adapted experiment kits and accessible learning resources.

Building Accessible Science Labs Across India

During this quarter, Vision Empower set up 19 Accessible Science Labs across 6 states – 12 in Karnataka, 2 in Telangana, 2 in Maharashtra, 1 in Kerala, 1 in Tamil Nadu, and 1 in Gujarat. With tactile models, adapted experiment kits, and accessible learning resources, these labs are benefiting 1000 learners, expanding access to meaningful, hands-on science learning across schools.
