Workshop on Creation of Science and Math Text Books in Braille

Vision Empower in collaboration with Canara Bank Welfare Association (Matruchhaya) conducted an online workshop on the 1st of September 2021 for The Regional Braille Press, Rama Krishna Mission Ashram, Narendrapur (West Bengal), and National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD), Chennai.

1. Usage of MathType to create accessible Math equations in Braille.
2. Creating tactile diagrams using TactileView

The joint Vision Empower and Matruchhaya team intend to support the content creators at both these regional Braille presses to create accessible Braille books for Science and Math including Math equations and diagrams.
