Learning can be joyful and inclusive using games! Using the Ludic Design for Accessibility approach, VE introduces children with visual impairment to the joy of CT.

NOUGHTS & CROSSES

The objective of Noughts and Crosses is to get a winning line of three Noughts or three Crosses in either a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row.

PALLAGUZHI

Pallankuli is played using an elliptical wooden board with two rows, each having seven hollows to be filled with five shells/seeds.

LUDO

The classic board game with the objective of bringing all 4 tokens into the home triangle.

CONNECT FOUR

Make a straight line of four with the coins of the same texture.

Scrabble

The objective of the game is to make the maximum number of words (maximum score).

Snakes & Ladders

Be the first to reach 100. The ladders help climb, the snakes slide you down.

ICEBREAKER

Odd One Out

Enhance the problem-solving skills by finding things that does not belong to the group.

Game Birthday

Understand the pattern and sequence in days, weeks and months in a year along with the concept of before, after, and in between the numbers.

JODOGYAN

Tangrams

Tangrams offer kids an excellent opportunity to test out different geometric manipulations, also number sense and become familiar with the properties of the shapes they use.

Ganitmala

Children learn how the numbers to 100 fit on to this and can use it for finding which are greater and smaller.

Place Value card

Also known as Gattegno cards, this helps children to develop quantity value of the numbers on the basis of expanded notation.

Musical Numbers

The objective of the game is to say the numbers in a sequence and then remember, repeat the sounds of different animals in the same sequence.

CARD GAME 0

The objective of the game is to make players familiar with the cards by identifying the card number (counting the dots/bindis) and their suit (tactile shapes). Card deck: Junior Card, Play arena: Standard, Number of players: 4.

EQUATIONS

Be the first to make an equation / to be the player with the maximum number of equations at the end of day (in the challenging version of the game).

RUMMY

Be the first to form a hand consisting of valid combinations of sequences and/or sets.

LAST MAN STANDING

In order to reinforce the concept of place value concept, this game involves distributing the cards to the children and they have to form the 3 or 4 digit number and keep all the cards face down.

GO FISH

The objective of the game is to be able to collect maximum sets of cards.

I SEE 10

Game Variant-1: Be the first to finish the cards in your hand. Game Variant-2: make 3 pairs that add up to 10.

SCOOP

Sort the cards into four different suits from 1 to 10 along with the king, queen, and jack.

RACE TO 27

Be the first to reach 27 (or any number that has been decided beforehand).

Collaborative Sorting

The objective of the game is to collect all cards of the same type (suit). Number of players: 4

Hop Scotch

Played by throwing a small object into numbered spaces (squares) and then hopping through it to recover the object. Known by many names - Kith-Kith, Kunte Bille, Stapu, Langdi, Ekka Dukka, Langdi Paani, Paandi....
